Since 1980, PreventEd has led Teen Institute (TI), a powerful seminar that equips high school students to prevent substance misuse in their schools and communities!

Red Ribbon

Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in America, reaching millions of students each year during the last week of October. By wearing red ribbons and participating in community anti-drug events, young people pledge to live a drug-free life and pay tribute to DEA Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena (1947-1985).

ElevatEd

ElevatEd is a youth coalition that strives to prevent underage drinking and related substance misuse through awareness, education, and advocacy, and to create strong and healthy communities. ElevatEd meetings follow the motto of “safe space, open conversation”. We’re open to all kinds of people, ideas, perspectives, and experiences. No one is expected to be a perfect person. They just need to keep an open mind.

Hear Us

Hear Us is an annual advocacy event hosted by PreventEd each spring for current St. Louis region high school students. They will train and prepare for legislative visits with the State Senator and Representative that is specific to their zip code.
