Coalition on Addictions: A PreventEd Speaker Series

This month’s Coalition on Addictions topic is “Busting Burnout,” by Lara Pennington with Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri.

Unchecked stress can lead to burnout. This seminar offers practical tools, resources and strategies to confront burnout and replace it with improved work-life balance.

Lara Pennington has joined the team of Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri in the role of Community Mental Health Educator. Lara has served the Saint Louis community for her entire professional career, focusing on behavioral health, prevention, and wellness in a variety of settings including direct service, administration, and education.

One CEU contact hour certificate is available for $5.00. Individuals holding a CHES/MCHES certification can earn one CECH for $5.00.

The COA (Coalition on Addictions) is a networking/continuing education program for those who work in the local substance use field, as well as students and interested others.

This month’s COA will be a webinar hosted on Zoom. Attendees are welcome to join this virtual meeting at 11:45am for networking. The presentation will begin at 12pm. Click here to register.
