Coalition on Addictions: A PreventEd Speaker Series

Time

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Coalition on Addictions is a monthly event that provides a forum for networking, learning, and advocacy regarding the use and misuse of alcohol and other drugs. Participation is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of the challenges and opportunities in addressing substance use.

This month’s Coalition on Addictions topic is “Suicide Prevention,” by Elizabeth Makulec, Executive Director of KUTO (Kids Under Twenty One).

September is Suicide Prevention Month. All month, mental health advocates, prevention organizations, survivors, allies, and community members unite to promote suicide prevention awareness. Join us to learn about steps anyone can take to reduce the incidence of suicide and more about community resources for support.

One CEU contact hour certificate is available for $5.00.

This month’s COA will be a webinar hosted on Zoom. Attendees are welcome to join this virtual meeting at 11:45am for networking. The presentation will begin at 12pm.  Click here to register.
