This training provides an introduction to the impact of family substance use on children and families. The goal is to improve the understanding of substance use as a brain disease, continuum of care spectrum, changes that can occur within the dynamics of a family, and highlights the potential impact on a child’s overall social and emotional well-being, as well as relationships.
