International Overdose Awareness Day

Join PreventEd, SOUL (Surviving Overdose and Understanding Loss), MONetwork and H.E.A.L.: Stop Heroin to observe International Overdose Awareness Day. In remembrance of the lives lost to substance use overdose, there will be an organized walk downtown Kirkwood, Missouri. The event and starting point of the walk will be Concordia Lutheran Church, 505 S. Kirkwood Rd., St. Louis, MO 63122. The event will begin at 5:30pm and there will be a tribute to lives lost at 6pm. The 1.4 mile walk will start at 6:30pm.

Attendees are welcome to bring a pair of lightly used shoes to be set up as a display in which the empty shoes represent lives lost. The shoes will be donated after the event.
