Medical Cannabis: Navigating Ethical Dilemmas (Virtual)

Missouri recently joined many other states in creating a medical cannabis program. In this 3-hour virtual workshop, participants will explore what medical cannabis is, what it promises, and to what extent it delivers on those promises.

Through interactive discussions, we will take a closer look at scenarios in the clinical setting that can pose unique ethical challenges. Participants will use an ethical decision making framework to work through a variety of dilemmas that professionals commonly face. Following this training, helping professionals will be better equipped to navigate conversations regarding medical cannabis with clients.

Certificates for 3 contact hours will be available for $25. Information on how to submit payment will be provided following the training.

PreventEd is a Missouri Credentialing Board provider and hours are approved by the Missouri Credentialing Board. This workshop has been approved by the State Committee for Social Workers and satisfies the three live ethics training hours for licensed social workers.  Register below:
