This is a list of resources that we think are helpful, and we will continue to add more resources as we come across them. These are not the only resources available. Please let us know if you have any additional resources you’d like to see on this list.


Recovery Communities with an Online Alternative

Please note some of the virtual meetings listed are not local and may have a different time zone; an adjustment may be necessary to ensure you join the meeting at the correct time.

Smart Recovery – Offers daily online meetings, message board, and 24/7 live chat once an individual signs up. Must sign up to be able to utilize online meetings and other services.

Online NA meetings – Bringing Narcotics Anonymous meetings to remote or isolated addicts from around the world.

NA Phone Meetings – Narcotics Anonymous teleconference meetings and cyber phone recovery.

Online CA Meetings – Cocaine Anonymous is a Fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others recover from their addiction.

Online MA Meetings – Marijuana Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from marijuana addiction.

Life Ring Secular Recovery – Life Ring provides an abstinence based, secular, and self-empowered addiction recovery pathway through our meeting and support network.

Recovery Dharma Online Meetings – Recovery Dharma is a peer-led movement and community that uses the Buddhist practices of meditation, self-inquiry, wisdom, compassion, and community as tools for recovery and healing.

Buddhist Recovery Phone and Online Meetings – The Buddhist Recovery Network promotes the use of Buddhist teachings and practices to help people recover from the suffering caused by addictive behaviors.

Refuge Recovery – Refuge Recovery is a practice, a process, a set of tools, a treatment and a path to healing addiction and the suffering caused by addiction.

Al-Anon Phone Meetings – Al-Anon phone meetings are available for people who are worried about someone with a drinking problem.

Al-Anon Online Meetings – Al-Anon online meetings are also available for those worried about someone with a drinking problem.

We Connect Recovery – Offers online recovery support meetings 7 or more times daily, meetings worldwide, open to anyone who is dealing with substance use, and other quality of life concerns.

Medication Assisted Recovery Anonymous (MARA) – A space welcome to all people utilizing medication assistance in recovery.

Virtual Services

ARCA Virtual OUD/SUD Clinic – Launched to better serve individuals through this challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Any patient who is in need of stabilization or bridge treatment should send an email to to schedule appointments or text ‘ARCA’ to 66-866.

Access Crisis Intervention – Access Crisis Intervention (ACI) provides access to services for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator – SAMHSA offers a confidential and anonymous source of information for persons seeking treatment facilities in the United States or U.S. Territories for substance use disorders and other mental health problems.

Recovery Apps

I am Sober– Helps build daily habits and learn from others who are making changes happen. Available in Apple app store and for Android.

NOMO– “It’s time to say no more” to bad habits. Available in the Apple app store and for Android.

Pocket Rehab – 24/7 real-time recovery support and relapse prevention for free through an online community of volunteer providers. Available in Apple app store and for Android.

Sober Time – Sober Time helps you track your sobriety, stay motivated, and interact with others in recovery. Available in the Apple app store and for Android.

SoberTool  is an effective app to help stay clean and sober. Available in Apple app store and for Android.

Sober Grid – A mobile sober community with free personalized, easy-to-access resources for tracking and sharing progress with others, giving and receiving support. Available in the Apple app store and for Android.

Online Only Communities

Sober Recovery – A community of over 168,000 people in recovery and their friends, family and loved ones.

In the rooms – Online recovery tool that offers 130 weekly online meetings for those in recovery.

The Daily Pledge – Online recovery community that offers online meetings, chat rooms, recovery resources.

Soberocity – A community that connects people living a sober life with like-minded individuals through meet-ups, online live streams, and events across the country and offers a breadth of useful resources, up-to-date news, and details regarding a variety of exciting and engaging events.

Resources for Parents and Kids

All Our Kids – A resource to ensure all area kids have access to healthy, nutritious meals.

Protect Kids Resources for Parents – List of resources for parents including stories from the front lines, tips on talking to your kids, what parents need to know, and how to end this youth epidemic.

GuidEd – PreventEd’s early intervention program for adolescent substance use. Counselors are available at no cost to ask questions, facilitate an assessment and help make recommendations for the next step. 

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) – PAL aims to help parents or other family members deal with issues arising from an addicted loved one.
