The event will be held in person at PreventEd’s main location.

Alcohol, nicotine, opioids, cannabis, and other drugs continue to have a devastating hold on communities in Missouri. Substance misuse affects millions both personally and professionally. PreventEd works to prevent and reduce the harms associated with alcohol and other drug misuse through education, intervention, and advocacy. Leading the conversation on this topic is vital to the work we do at PreventEd.

A select group of state-level legislators from the eastern region of Missouri will serve as panelists during this policy-oriented conversation. This is an ideal opportunity for officials to share their priorities on substance-related issues and hear more about the impact in communities.

PreventEd is committed to the power of prevention and uses evidence-based prevention strategies along with expertise in this field to remain committed to our mission of preventing and reducing the harms associated with substance misuse. Educating the community, reducing access to minors, and building resilient youth and communities are key in the work that we do.

Networking will be available after the event.
