NAP and YOP tax credits provide 50% Missouri tax credits for eligible donations over $1,000. These credits make higher donations equate to less out of pocket for you. Check out this chart to get an idea of how these credits work, and contact PreventEd to find out if your donation is eligible.

The CARES Act of 2020 creates a new above-the-line deduction for total charitable contributions of up to $300. The incentive applies to cash contributions made in 2020 and can be claimed on tax forms next year.
It also lifts the existing cap on annual contributions for those who itemize, raising it from 60% of adjusted gross income to 100 percent. For corporations, the law raises the annual limit from 10% to 25%.
